After cleaning and changing tires on the car yesterday I decided to venture into the world of flash car photography. Pretty pleased with the result.
Working with a single SB-900, I had to composite several photos in order to light the entire car. I used a high shutter speed to cut out ambient light, leaving only the reflections of the flash. The hardest part was placement of the flash. You want to highlight the lines of the car, without getting the reflection of the umbrella. But after trying for a while I got the hang of it. As the law of reflection states: ”the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection”
Fuji x100 :: Review
I can state with confidence that this is my favorite camera I have ever owned. Period. End of story. Done. Best. Camera. EVAR. OMG. Etc.
I recently replaced my Leica M8.2 (which I sold in January) with the Fuji X100. I’ll post some thought about it and photos I’ve taken when I get the time to do a writeup, but in the meantime read Zack Arias’s review.
Looking through my photo library I realized there are so many photos I like, but have never shared with people. So from now on I will post some of them on my blog.
First one is from from the annual Hubba Bubba Gubba party last summer. It’s always one of the best parties of the year and usually we keep it going till the sun comes up.
