Biketricks from 1899!!!

This is unbelievable: In 1899 Thomas A. Edison filmed people doing tricks on their bikes. Riding backwards and other stuff that looks BMX flatland. There’s even a guy almost sticking the loop almost a century before Matt Hoffman did it in Jackass.

Christian Bale and Kermit

What do they have in common you might ask yourself? A lot more than you think!

Rock climbing

We Didn’t Start the Flame War

One of the best viral videos I’ve seen in a while. College Humor have some great original stuff, esp. the prank war!

Back in the city

I’m back from the mountains where I had a great time. Took a lot of cool images, I’ll see if I can get them up in a few days. In the meantime there’s this one of me pulling a no-footer over a 2 meter gap on a snowracer.

Snowracer jumping was a lot of fun!

Surgeries on YouTube

My new hobby: Watching YouTube videos of surgeries. Here are a few to start with. Warning, some of them might not be for the faint of heart.

I WANT THIS CAR

Kevin Rose posted some leaked pictures of the new Tesla Model S, and it’s absolutely gorgeous! Reminds me of a slightly sporty version of the Jaguar XF. Love the glass roof and the touchscreen centre console.

GQ Style Tips

GQ has a slideshow of their picks for The 50 Most Stylish Men, with great style tips. Worth a look if you like clothes.

Dress seasonally. In the summertime, shift to lighter weight—and lighter color—suits. Think cotton, not wool.

    Rules for my unborn son

This is without a dubt my new favourite blog on the internet. I discovered it in January and read the entire thing in an evening. I like it so much I might actually save all the post and make a book for my kid. In addition to all the great advice, there are also great pictures and songs.

Not all of the rules are equally good, and there are certain I disagree with (like 304), but most of them are things you should follow. Few of my favourites are:

    314. If your art is bad, make it bigger.

    301. Dress for the job you want, not for the one you have.

    259. If it looks like rain, carry an umbrella. She’ll thank you.

    200. Drive across the country. Don’t rush.

    187. Smile at pretty girls.

    174. If you are tempted to wear a cowboy hat, resist.

    160. On occasion, go to the movies by yourself.

P.S. Fun stuff for Norwegians: see if you can find Kong Harald…
